By TheAnchoress on War on Terror It is chilling, adrenaline-pumping and necessary. But not pleasant. My hands were shaking by the end of the trailer. It’s going to be tough to watch. But then again, The Passion of the Christ was tough to watch too. And I watched it 5 times. The great Jim Geraghty has some insightful remarks about the trailer, about the fact that the passengers of flight 93 essentially fought and won the first battle in a “post 9/11″ world and about how increasingly pervasive it is that some people pull “facts” out of thin air in order to “make their point.” More on that, later - it is a troubling phenom. Meanwhile Geraghty has some excellent links and a (subscription only) column on United 93 in the NY Sun. | | | |
