Subject: US Officials Indicted in Botched Terror Case

US Officials Indicted in Botched Terror Case Thursday, March 30 2006 @ 11:11 AM Eastern Standard Time Dealing a blow to US President George W. Bush's so-called "war on terror", two US federal officials were charged with hiding evidence to win conviction in a terrorism case against four Muslim men following the 9/11, The New York Times reported on Thursday, March 30.
Richard Convertino, the former Detroit federal prosecutor, and Harry Raymond Smith, former security official assigned to the US Embassy in Amman, Jordan, were indicted Wednesday, March 29, on charges of conspiracy, obstruction of justice and making false declarations.

The two conspired to withhold photographs of a US military hospital in Jordan they claimed to be a target of a terror attack by four Muslim men who were arrested days after the 9/11 attacks in a dilapidated Detroit apartment.

Federal authorities claimed the men were part of a "sleeper" terrorist cell plotting attacks against Americans overseas.

Two of the men were convicted on terrorism charges after a high-profile trial in 2003.

But later, the case began to unravel amid accusations of concealed evidence and government misconduct.

The conviction was thrown in September 2004 at the request of the US Attorney's Office, which said Convertino had withheld key evidence from the defendants and allowed witnesses to mislead the jury.

Lying

Convertino, 45, who has left the Justice Department, faces 30 years in prison and a $1 million fine if convicted.

Smith, a security officer for the State Department who assisted in the prosecution, faces 20 years in prison and a $750,000 fine.

During the trial in 2003, Convertino said that sketches, with corresponding words in Arabic, represented "casings" of two overseas targets — an American air base in Turkey and a military hospital in Jordan.

Smith also testified that one of the sketch was an "exact" match to the area surrounding the hospital.

He lied under oath after the defense team asked prosecutors to produce photographs of the site for comparison.

Smith claimed he could not take photos of a military site without permission from Jordanian authorities.

The US government agreed in February to pay $300,000 to settle an illegal detention lawsuit brought by an Egyptian man who was among hundreds of Muslims rounded up in New York after the September attacks.

Thousands of Muslim and Arabic men were rounded up and questioned in the weeks and months following the terrorist attacks.

Some of the detainees have sued the US government after their release for inhumane and degrading treatment and a total blackout of communications in detention centers on the US soil.

A May 2004 report released by the US Senate Office Of Research concluded that the Arab Americans and the Muslim community in the United States have taken the brunt of the Patriot Act and other federal powers applied in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks.

Amnesty International also repeatedly said that racial profiling by US law enforcement agencies had grown dramatically in the wake of the 9/11 attacks.

DEADLIEST SHIRT IN THE WORLD
9/11 survivor's toxic clothing sparks cancer fear
By Stephen White
THIS deadly 9/11 shirt contains so much asbestos it is feared
thousands of the disaster's survivors could be hit with cancer.

The garment worn by survivor Yehuda Kaploun, 39, has 93,000 times
higher levels of asbestos than normal - 47 TIMES the safety limit.

It is also saturated with toxic zinc, mercury, antimony, barium,
chromium, cobalt, copper, lead and molybdenum.

More than a million tonnes of dust containing chemicals and 400,000
tonnes of asbestos choked the skies after New York's World Trade
Center was hit by two hijacked planes.

Now there are fears that Yehuda's shirt is grim evidence that
rescuers and survivors could face lethal health problems in decades
to come.

Yehuda, who spent two days battling to save lives at Ground Zero,
said: "I saw thousands of people covered in the dust. We were told
there was no danger. Obviously, this isn't the case.

"It goes to show how wrong these people were who we trusted.

"So far, thank God, I check out OK. But I hope the government will
do the right thing for all those who were at Ground Zero for any
length of time." Yehuda was a liaison officer between the police,
fire departments and the Orthodox Jewish community in the aftermath
of the disaster that killed 2,752 people.

He watched as his friend, fireman Mychal Judge, died in a building
collapse. When he returned home exhausted he decided to keep the
shirt rather than have it cleaned, and sealed it in a plastic bag.

He said: "Something told me it was loaded with stuff."

The shirt was sent for analysis to RJ Lee Group laboratories.

Forensic testing has revealed that parts contain a concentration of
chrysotile asbestos about 93,000 times higher than the average found
in the environment.

A safe level of asbestos on clothing is below one per cent. The
shirt has levels approaching 47 per cent.

Chuck Lee, a senior scientist at the lab, said: "These are at the
high end of surface concentrations that you'd find anywhere."

Yehuda said he hoped the damning evidence could help others who may
have been exposed to the danger.

He said: "Maybe my shirt and I can do something to help all those
people who were at Ground Zero for weeks and months on end.

"If this is what is needed to help and support them, then that's a
blessing." Dr Mark Rosen, chief of Pulmonary and Critical Care
Medicine at Beth Israel Hospital, warned that it can take decades
for asbestos cancers to develop.

He said: "We won't know the effect of Ground Zero exposure for
years."

Heavy metals burned in the debris of the Twin Towers for months
after the terror strike.

David Worby, a lawyer for 7,300 rescue and recovery workers who
continually inhaled the smoke and dust at Ground Zero, later called
the area "the worst toxic site ever".

He said: "It's mind-boggling the poisons they made these people work
through. The amount of dioxins made Vietnam look like a
kindergarten."

A report published last month showed that 62 per cent of those
caught in the dust cloud later went down with respiratory problems.

Last week a US coroner said that the death of police detective James
Zadroga, 34, from respiratory disease was "directly related" to the
9/11 attacks.

The families of two dozen workers who died after being involved in
the clean-up operation are suing New York City authorities.

Subject: little boys, tigers and jungles... oh, my... I think that does it.

There was once a little boy playing in the jungle, and
a tiger came upon him and gave chase to the little boy,
the little boy remembered he had some candies in his pocket,
stopped, turned around to offer the tiger one, and was promptly
invited to dinner.

There was another little boy playing in the jungle, and a tiger
came upon him, the little boy started to run as the tiger gave chase,
the little boy saw another boy with a spear. He ran up to the little boy
with the spear, and offered him a candy that he had in his pocket, to
help with the tiger, and they both managed to lay slay to the tiger.

The two little boys built wonderful cities in the trees, away from the
tigers.

Then there was a third little boy "playing" in the jungle, and yes
another tiger came upon him and gave chase.

Having long ago ate any candies in a fit of immediate gratification,
this little boy reached down and plucked away his own manhood and threw
them at the tiger. The tiger licked his lips after greedily eating the
morsels and demanded more from the little boy. Not wanting to spend more
then he already had to, the little boy remembered seeing two little boys
nearby building some odd thing, and led the tiger to the two little
boys, and the little boy sat down with the tiger for a nice dinner of
the two other little boys. The supply of little boys soon ran out, and
with it, the torch of liberty and humanities hope to build wonderful
cities in the sky, for humanity itself was no more.

It is the United States style of doing Business. The United States is a
Corporation that was formed, I think in the 1880’s, to conduct the business
of the United States of America. Someone back then said that Governments
weren’t suppose to be in business, they were suppose to be Governing.

And the chute opened and we have slid even faster into the corporat4e abyss
than Franklin and Jefferson referred to before they passed on.

Yes, it is about the Oil, but the Oil is only one of many plans in actions

Working rednecks huh? I have a pretty good handle on them.

I don’t tell them nuthin, I ask them things like, They really think that we
believe 3 buildings came down when only 2 planes hit ad the fire wasn’t hot
enough to do a brush burn! (just a statement) but if you can make a
statement them say, they really think we are that stupid, don’t they? That
tactic works wonders. No one wants to be called stupid.

When I get my rare cups of coffee the newspaper stand is right next to me, I
take every advantage to say something like, did you see in this paper that
they said this BS? What do they take us for, idiots? And do the question
statement thing, get my coffee and get the hell outta there, cause they are
now thinking. On a good day I can have all within earshot talking about
this, and I don’t mean whispering and I do this in the republican sewn up
area of my county. In under a year, even the Bush/Cheney people will not
attack 9/11 comments and many will say, someone must be threatening our
pResident or he’d do something about this!

I never say what they have to believe, I make a semi statement of fact, and
then ask questions. The moment you take a solid stance, they can shut you
off and they can just deny anything you say, so I ask them for their
opinion, or say “You believes this and that , don’t you? After all, you don’
t look as stupid as those folks seem to think we voters are” That is, ask a
question and make them right and note that they aren’t idiots, even of you
may personally think they are.

At the very least, it is progress and without that, we’re all dead if we’re
lucky and if not luck, we’d indentured servitude in the work force prison of
choice of the Multi nationals.

using the internet to expose to the world what they are and what they have
done. The 9-11 frameup is a crime big enough that people can't brush it
aside. Our best hope is to show the world the ample evidence of the
false-flag attack -- and then enlarge that hole until their motives and
their other crimes are exposed. They cannot withstand public opinion.

she may be an idiot, but I'm a bit more certain she's a troll who is
dedicated to stifling discussion about the zionist's role in 9-11, and blame
everything on Bush. I think that's their new strategy now that much of
American knows the truth. If they're succesful a few low-level heads will
roll, but there will be no real change, and all of our efforts will be in
vain. People must see that this is much bigger than just a few American
criminals. Your website is important because it exposes people behind the
scenes (Rothschilds -- Zionists) who would be perfectly happy to sacrifice a
few patsies to remain in control.

I also never "presumed that Jewish people are going to hide their identity

The only one who brought up anything racist was you, and the fact you scream
"racism" as a ploy to end all discussion of crimes committed by Israelis, or

The sort of posts you ARE allowing are going to cause great harm to

Dig for a few dollars, and help a real statesman stay

Dear Theresa J:
During the 2004 Presidential campaign, the country saw
a good and decent man smeared and tarred with
scurrilous claims and false attacks. John Kerry, who
served this country with distinction -- winning three
Purple Hearts and a Silver Star for his valor -- was
smeared by a shameful attack on his record.

The "Swift Boat" campaign that tarred John Kerry
brought dishonor to the GOP campaign consultants who
created it. The Washington Post said their ads
"crossed the line." Republican Senator John McCain
called their tactics "dishonest and dishonorable."

Those same DC consultants were recently hired by a
Republican Senate candidate in West Virginia, who will
undoubtedly try to "Swift Boat" my re-election
campaign with falsehoods and innuendo.

Don't let them "Swift Boat" Robert C. Byrd.

I have always stood up for my beliefs, and I have
never run from a fight. I will stand fast for what I
believe. But I will need your help now, more than
ever.

Please help Senator Byrd defend himself.

I deeply appreciate the help and support you continue
to show to my campaign. But it is important to be
prepared for the onslaught before it comes. Please
consider making a significant contribution to my
campaign. We will need ammunition to fight back.

Support Senator Byrd today.

In order to counter the lies and deceptions that the
"Swift Boat" team will hurl at me, I will need your
help. Please consider making a contribution to my
campaign to help get out the truth. I thank you for
your continued support.

Sincerely,

Robert C. Byrd
United States Senator

GAS CALCULATORS

Calculate your cost of gasoline for a year, or for a trip

Calculate the cost of gas for a trip between two cities

Calculate your cost of gasoline if you don't know your car's average gas mileage

By James R. Healey, USA TODAY
Americans have cut back gasoline use in apparent response to increasing prices, separate surveys by the government and a petroleum trade organization showed Wednesday.
Gas use last month was 0.6% less than a year ago, the American Petroleum Institute reported, because "high fuel prices have led to decreased demand for gasoline and other refined oil products."

The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) said gasoline use the past four weeks was up a slight 0.6% vs. a year ago. Typical is an increase of 1.5%, and that's the growth rate assumed in many industry, analyst and government forecasts.

Cutting back just a little more could cause gasoline prices — which average $2.801 nationwide, up 57.7 cents from last year, according to motorist organization AAA — to drop dramatically, one veteran analyst says.

"If everyone decided to drive 3% less the next 30 days, prices would crash," says Tom Kloza, senior analyst at the Oil Price Information Service.

He doubts that Americans could manage that — "We know how well appeals to personal sacrifice work" — but still foresees less-than-normal growth in gasoline consumption this year.

"There's a point where it really hurts," he says. "There could be a little more carpooling, and there will be. It's approaching the point where that could happen."

Gasoline is made from oil, and oil prices are setting daily records this week, closing at $72.17 a barrel Wednesday, up 82 cents from Tuesday's close. Oil would have to top $86.99 to set an inflation-adjusted record.

Fuel conservation might be short-lived. For one thing, prices are likely to drop. EIA says, "Significant increases in gasoline production ... over the next several weeks should stem the rise in gasoline prices and may, actually, cause them to decline somewhat."

EIA says, "While the average U.S. price of regular gasoline could reach $3 per gallon sometime this year, that outcome is by no means a foregone conclusion."

History shows that as long as gasoline is available, at whatever price, Americans tend to adjust to the price and resume their previous driving habits.

"There's definitely some evidence of consumers adjusting," says Rakesh Shankar, an economist who watches energy for Moody's Economy.com.

Last time gasoline consumption dropped significantly was September, because of high prices and spot shortages caused by Hurricane Katrina's damage to energy operations in the Gulf of Mexico.

Demand continued to slide for a while after that, but it does so routinely in the fall and winter. So it's difficult to separate Katrina-sparked conservation from seasonal patterns.

Kitty -- if someone's not receptive to the info move on -- some people simply don't want to know the truth. Try to convinve one or two people close to you so you have someone to work with. And since the mainstream media has already convinced them that you're crazy for suggesting such a thing, it might be wise to first discredit the MSM by exposing some of their other lies, and that might pave the way to having a more receptive 9-11 Truth audience.

using the internet to expose to the world what they are and what they have
done. The 9-11 frameup is a crime big enough that people can't brush it
aside. Our best hope is to show the world the ample evidence of the
false-flag attack -- and then enlarge that hole until their motives and
their other crimes are exposed. They cannot withstand public opinion.

This is a good idea, Mr. Botalerts, and I think Cathy mentioned it once in the past. For a "Truth Community" (I wouldn't limit it to 9-11, because we've been lied to about almost everything, and we need to appeal to a broader "market") to emerge, what's needed first is a visible symbol that identifies us, which will also allow people to feel as though they belong to a larger group (which is important to most humans). Sometimes I wear un upside-down American flag pin, which I believe is being naturally adopted by others because of its meaning. (backdrop of Kevin's interviews, for instance, and I've also seen the inverted flag flying on a pole) This might also induce people to ask you questions, which will open the door for you to explain things to them.
Since the 9-11 Truth Movement has been branded by the MSM as being a bunch of lunatics, many people will stay away for that reason, but if a more general truth movement attempted to expose the media as being a lying propaganda machine, people who are resistant to 9-11 truth will be able to join for other issues (downing street memo, vote fraud, WMD, etc. etc.) and will come to accept 9-11 Truth over time. This is why I (and others) was trying to join the truth movement with the vote fraud movement after the 2004 election.
I'm going to start wearing my flag pin upside down every day.

Kitty - Scott has an excellent approach here, but since I work with New Yorkers instead of rednecks, lately I've been saying things like "you're a naive idiot if you believe that bullshit," and other similarly offensive remarks. (maybe I'm becoming angry at the fools) Another new approach of mine is to mention in a list the Luiatania, the Maine, the Gulf of Tonkin, and Pearl harbor and say "They pull the same trick before every war, and the American people are still dumb enough to keep falling for it."

Scott Peden <scotpeden@cruzio.com> wrote:

v\:* {behavior:url(#default#VML);} o\:* {behavior:url(#default#VML);} w\:* {behavior:url(#default#VML);} .shape {behavior:url(#default#VML);} Working rednecks huh? I have a pretty good handle on them.

I don’t tell them nuthin, I ask them things like, They really think that we believe 3 buildings came down when only 2 planes hit ad the fire wasn’t hot enough to do a brush burn! (just a statement) but if you can make a statement them say, they really think we are that stupid, don’t they? That tactic works wonders. No one wants to be called stupid.

When I get my rare cups of coffee the newspaper stand is right next to me, I take every advantage to say something like, did you see in this paper that they said this BS? What do they take us for, idiots? And do the question statement thing, get my coffee and get the hell outta there, cause they are now thinking. On a good day I can have all within earshot talking about this, and I don’t mean whispering and I do this in the republican sewn up area of my county. In under a year, even the Bush/Cheney people will not attack 9/11 comments and many will say, someone must be threatening our pResident or he’d do something about this!

I never say what they have to believe, I make a semi statement of fact, and then ask questions. The moment you take a solid stance, they can shut you off and they can just deny anything you say, so I ask them for their opinion, or say “You believes this and that , don’t you? After all, you don’t look as stupid as those folks seem to think we voters are” That is, ask a question and make them right and note that they aren’t idiots, even of you may personally think they are.

At the very least, it is progress and without that, we’re all dead if we’re lucky and if not luck, we’d indentured servitude in the work force prison of choice of the Multi nationals.

using the internet to expose to the world what they are and what they have
done. The 9-11 frameup is a crime big enough that people can't brush it
aside. Our best hope is to show the world the ample evidence of the

their other crimes are exposed. They cannot withstand public opinion.

she may be an idiot, but I'm a bit more certain she's a troll who is dedicated to stifling discussion about the zionist's role in 9-11, and blame everything on Bush. I think that's their new strategy now that much of American knows the truth. If they're succesful a few low-level heads will roll, but there will be no real change, and all of our efforts will be in vain. People must see that this is much bigger than just a few American criminals. Your website is important because it exposes people behind the scenes (Rothschilds -- Zionists) who would be perfectly happy to sacrifice a few patsies to remain in control.

Hi,
Angie here, new to this group, that's a lot of mail to read!
Do you all know the initiative to write webadresses on banknotes (as long as there is still cash to do it with). Every note that passes through your hands put a truth site adress on it before you spend it. Money Talks!

Jolly Roger <slicingthroats@yahoo.com> wrote:
Kitty -- if someone's not receptive to the info move on -- some people simply don't want to know the truth. Try to convinve one or two people close to you so you have someone to work with. And since the mainstream media has already convinced them that you're crazy for suggesting such a thing, it might be wise to first discredit the MSM by exposing some of their other lies, and that might pave the way to having a more receptive 9-11 Truth audience.

Leslie has an opinion…… nicest way I can put it.

He is taking the Dem party apart without effectively giving a replacement.
He is right in the fact that the Dems are the other face of the Repo’s ad as
a coin they generally vote against ‘we the people’ and have for many a long
decade now. But he cases most everyone away in any thing he does.

Sorry, jolly, You and Kevin weren’t that special and I seriously doubt he is
a disinformation agent, you just responded to his posts.

Unfortunately, in the three groups I have been with him in, he is a
disruptor, covered by ‘passion’. He may be smart, but not smart enough to
get people to listen to his ideas. Hopefully none of us suffer to
extensively from that.

Subject: Re: How successful has the 911 truth movement been?

Jolly,

I’d try to be inclusive and change your statement to “They must
think we are naïve Idiots that believe their Bullshit!!”. As now they want
to hear what you have to say, as you just created a bit of mystery.

Just make sure your statement includes them in the intelligence
category, rather than alienating them with a “you’re a stupid dolt” opening
comment. You might get loads of people that like to are and you can have
affine argument that way, but I’d escape from you as fast as possible as
your mind is made up and that leaves no room for me other than to just
blindly agree. And I’m just a piss poor dittohead.

Of course, I’m not a Nyer, I never want to be and you may have a
completely different social structure than I have ever come across.

God one, adding in the Luiatania, The Maine, the Gulf of Tonkin and Pearl
Harbor. Yes, they may think that those were the way the Psy Ops wanted them
to believe, but to start out vocalizing that you doubt YOUR NY’ers are as
stupid as those that fell for those ruses, they want to know what is the
popular thought and be in the ‘smart/correct category of people.

I work the Bush Cheney Repo’s the same way I work the rednecks. I talk to
them like they are smart enough and educated enough to be aware of what I am
aware and I am willing to not know it all, let them contribute, ask them
more questions, then ask them if they know something else I know. I have
reversed many a Bush Neo Con ditto head, given enough time to ask these
questions over time and not be threatening. Sooner than later I hear them
originate stuff like that. Maybe they started thinking it through for
themselves, or I have filled the empty vessel with my data before the Gov
filled it with their data.

I love that hit and run phraseology, ‘they must think we are idiots to
believe this or that’ and if someone wants a conversation, they’ll ask, but
the white processed sugar/Nutrasweet aka Aspartime/corn syrup sedations that
make people so willing to take in what ever they are told and to not
question the data, works both ways. WE too can just tell them what they
should be thinking, as long as we don’t alienate them in the opening
comment.

If those of us under the influence of these Government subsidized sweeteners
will believe what the government tells them, they’ll believe what anyone
tells them if you phrase it to make them think they are smart and educated
and have thought this through for themselves. Psy Ops is double edged, if
you can isolate the Psy Ops and use it yourself, and this works.

Kitty - Scott has an excellent approach here, but since I work with New
Yorkers instead of rednecks, lately I've been saying things like "you're a
naive idiot if you believe that bullshit," and other similarly offensive
remarks. (maybe I'm becoming angry at the fools) Another new approach of
mine is to mention in a list the Luiatania, the Maine, the Gulf of Tonkin,
and Pearl harbor and say "They pull the same trick before every war, and the
American people are still dumb enough to keep falling for it."

Scott Peden <scotpeden@cruzio.com> wrote:

I agree strongly with Jolly here. The MSM is a Multi National Mega
Corporation.

I make gains when I can consult peoples understanding using things like

To get elected a politician needs a huge war chest. The big politicians get
at least 60% of their funding from not just corporations, but Multi National
Mega Corporations who have no allegiance to the USA, they just have an
office here so they can influence where we send our military to protect
their business’s.

Pick some discredited News Stories, or say things like, I guess we will
never again have reporters like those that discredited Nixon by exposing
Watergate. Then they are all ears, what gossip do you have and it better be
entertaining enough to hold their attention.

Don’t let those who refuse to do any research or ask constructive questions
suck up your energies. I am sure you feel outnumbered where you are. Try
some hit and run tactics like I use in the coffee shop line while next to
the news stand. Say something intelligent that exposes their lies and smile
at anyone that makes eye contact. Everyone else then thinks that they too
know what you said and it becomes not only safe, but popular to talk about
what you just broke the ice on.

I could spend all day going to one place after another and where there is a
quiet enough crowd as “Did our government ever tell us why 3 buildings fell
in their own foot print when the third one wasn’t even hit by a plane much
less it was 2 buildings away? When a couple people look up, I ask, is it
true that that building is the one that had all the financial records to
show where all those Billions of dollars disappeared to? No one may answer,
they get to pick their own boogey man, but you have just turned them way
from the official story cause they are having to think on their own rather
than repeat what they have been told is the truth,, and you haven’t
committed them to speak this in public. Eventually it will become safe
enough to have discussions about this without being looked at as the lone
nut in the crowd.

Kitty -- if someone's not receptive to the info move on -- some people
simply don't want to know the truth. Try to convinve one or two people close
to you so you have someone to work with. And since the mainstream media has
already convinced them that you're crazy for suggesting such a thing, it
might be wise to first discredit the MSM by exposing some of their other
lies, and that might pave the way to having a more receptive 9-11 Truth
audience.
