[political-research] Did Neocon Bolten Demote Rove over Iran? (Wild Speculation)

http://www.guardian.co.uk/frontpage/story/0,,1750680,00.html

[Excerpt]

Vincent Cannistraro, a former CIA counter-terrorism operations chief said Mr Bush had not yet made up his mind about the use of direct military action against Iran.

"There is a battle for Bush's soul over that," he said, adding that Karl Rove, the president's chief political adviser is adamantly opposed to a war.

[Comment]

Is Rove a good guy, a voice on sanity, on Iran?  Are the neocons now punishing Rove, just as they punished Colin Powell and the CIA, for obstructing their plans for World War IV?  Just a wild guess.

The so-called shake-up in the Bush administration may just be another neoconservative grab for power.

If it is, the coming backlash against the neocons, and anyone associated with the neocons, is going to make Hurricane Katrina look like a spring shower.  Believe me, you won't want to be anywhere near the neocons when the hammer falls.  They are going to have just about everyone lined up against them, including most of the Republican Party establishment.

Some key background on Joshua Bolten:
