It's obvious that the neoconservatives intend to rule the entire Middle East on behalf of Israel from this embassy. This is a neocon project -- and fantasy -- through and through.
What are the odds that the Shiites will upset this applecart once they consolidate their power in Iraq? Better than even.
So far the neocons have wasted $2 trillion of American taxpayers' money on their doomed projects. Perhaps we should send the entire bill to Israel.
