[political-research] Why the Washington Post (and the Rest of the MSM) Are Going Down

Too many birdbrains like Deborah Howell and Fred Hiatt have acquired a comfortable home in these esteemed and corrupt old media institutions, and it is much too easy to knock them off their perches on the Internet.  One day they wake up and discover: the protective shield is gone.  They are on a level playing field with the rest of the world.  They have to start making sense or else.  But they are constitutionally unable to make sense, or to engage in real dialogue with their betters.
What a loathsome tale Jane Hamsher relates here, concerning the dishonest methods the Washington Post has used to enable the Iraq War:
Donald Graham, the head of the Washington Post, requires at least as much scrutiny for what has gone wrong in Iraq as does Donald Rumsfeld -- probably more.
