[political-research] Bloglines - Investigation Completed at Ishaqi: Troops Did The Right Thing

My Response:

1. You don't have to be a "liberal" to oppose deliberate carnage involving civilians.

2. It's not clear that the case is closed. In fact, it appears to that observator the apology will ultimately needed from the lying US Pentagon.

Investigation Completed at Ishaqi: Troops Did The Right Thing

By Ian on Liberal Hate

I do believe liberals at this blog said they would apologize if the allegations of troops killing innocent civilians were wrong:

June 2, 2006 — – Horrific images of Iraqi adults and children have fueled new allegations that U.S. troops killed civilians in the Iraqi town of Ishaqi. But ABC News has learned that military officials have completed their investigation and concluded that U.S. forces followed the rules of engagement.

A senior Pentagon official told ABC News the investigation concluded that the allegations of intentional killings of civilians by American forces are unfounded.

Military commanders in Iraq launched an investigation soon after the mid-March raid in the village of Ishaqi, about 50 miles north of Baghdad.

It makes the heart so heavy that the fight to support the troops has turned into another liberal vs. conservative issue.

It also upsets me that the title of this article is: ‘U.S. Military Denies New Abuse Allegations at Ishaqi’. Denies? It was a military investigation. Sigh, yet another liberal media vs. conservative issue.

Apologies, please.
