BG: Bainbridge has (we all have) a legitimate beef with this silly column in the Sunday Morning Herald, but it's not the point Bainbridge is making.
In terms of a sanctimonious tone ("tolerant, multicultural Western societies"), I think the Prof. just stole the crown from Libby Dole when she was speaking on the Senate floor about US abuse at Abu Graibe.
