A BYU physics professor speaking on Wednesday night implied a government
cover-up of what really happened on Sept. 11, 2001, and cast doubt on the
blame placed on Osama bin Laden.
Professor Steven E. Jones suggested before the attacks the Bush
administration was seeking a way to increase military spending and invade
Iraq....

I went to the lecture by Dr. Jones today. He quoted expert testimony which
testimony established that the fire was not capable of causing the
demolition of the three buildings.
Dr. Jones showed a photo of a building damaged by fire. This tall sky
scraper similar to the WTC towers burned and burned and yet no collapse.
Other photos were of buildings damaged by earthquake, they tipped and
pancaked, yet they did not pulverize into dust, highly toxic dust...
...The evidence is clear, no other conclusion except that there was added
demolitions can be drawn....

These are Defense Department staffer Steven Cambone's notes from a 2:40 PM
meeting with Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld on the afternoon of September
11, 2001. Cambone's notes were cited heavily in the 9/11 Commission Report's
reconstruction of the day's events. The document was obtained under the
Freedom of Information Act by Thad Anderson of outragedmoderates.org.
This note documents Donald Rumsfeld's 2:40 PM instructions to General Myers
to find the "[b]est info fast . . . judge whether good enough [to] hit S.H.
[Saddam Hussein] at same time - not only UBL [Usama Bin Laden]" (as
discussed on p. 334-335 of the 9/11 Commission Report and in Bob Woodward's
Plan of Attack).
In addition, the document confirms the contents of CBS News' Sept. 4, 2002
report "Plans For Iraq Attack Began on 9/11," which quoted Rumsfeld's notes
as stating: "Go massive . . . Sweep it all up. Things related and not." The
contents of the CBS News report were not included in the 9/11 Commission
Report or Woodward's Plan of Attack, and to my knowledge, have not been
independently confirmed by any other source. After the Rathergate fiasco, I
wondered if CBS had been fooled into publishing a story that was too good to
be true.

Nico, I just remembered another 'conspiracy' article in a 'mainstream'
magazine from last summer.
In the June 2005 edition of Penthouse, there is an article called,
"Secret Masters Of The World And Other Great Conspiracies That Explain
Everything", by S. David Sachs (page 24).
Though not exclusively about 9/11, there is a section called, "Bush
and bin Laden: Separated at Birth?"

Within hours of the September 11 attacks, conspiracy theorists were
spreading every explanation imaginable for the events.
Many blamed the Israelis, accusing them of framing Islamic terrorists.
This brought together the two great themes in conspiracy thought: Who
stands to gain, and how were the Jews involved?
Then the eerie links between George W. and Osama bin Laden began to
emerge.

The message from General Peter Pace, the chairman of the US joint chiefs of
staff, was apocalyptic.
"We are at a critical time in the history of this great country and find
ourselves challenged in ways we did not expect. We face a ruthless enemy
intent on destroying our way of life and an uncertain future," he said.
Pace was endorsing the Pentagon's four-yearly strategy review, presented to
Congress last week. The report sets out a plan for prosecuting what the the
Pentagon describes in the preface as "The Long War," which replaces the "War
on Terror..."
...Among specific measures proposed are: an increase in special operations
forces by 15 percent, an extra 3,700 personnel in psychological operations
and civil affairs units, an increase of 33 percent -- nearly double -- the
number of unmanned aerial drones, the conversion of submarine-launched
Trident nuclear missiles for use in conventional strikes, new close-to-shore
and high-speed naval capabilities, special teams trained to detect and
render safe nuclear weapons quickly anywhere in the world and a new
long-range bomber force....

Anyone know this guy Jarecki?
I happened to be at a cafe in Burlington and heard two guys talking
about this movie showing (Why We Fight) and I asked if the director
was going to be there. The guy said I am the director. I started
asking him how he deals with 9/11 in his movie etc. we got into a
screaming discussion for a 1/2 hour. He tried to tell me the entire
9/11 truth movement was a COINTLEPRO plot to make us look foolish.
He believes in AL CIAda as real and maybe they are behind 9/11 with
our help. I said I don't trust you as real documenary maker and
insinuated that he was on the dole. He was all over the place with
his points and could't really look me in the eye.I find him very
suspicious.

I am just watching it now. The first 10 minutes has so far covered;
America is 'spreading democracy', 9/11 was caused by 'blowback', a WTC
victim family member talking about calling NBC to complain about the
repeating footage of the towers collapsing and starts into the PNAC
group.
Interviews are mostly neocons and their supporters mixed with 'former
insiders' and their limited hangouts.
I doubt that I have the intestinal fortitude to watch the whole thing.

I once found out, that right after the "blackout" in NYC, the company
Emerson who has backup technology against electronic blackouts, and helped
on that day to keep the electrictity running in Wall Street, received a huge
contract to build an aids vaccine plant in South Korea.
Pharmacy is one of THE profiteers of 9/11 and we might have some increase of
other exotic diseases or weaponised and improved diseases. Maybe since flu
will be old school by then, they will think about "headaches", "depression"
or "yelling".
For sure bloggers will be declared as insane or schizophrenic.
Possibly Charles Krauthammer is already writing a book about this...
