Reunified Islam: Unlikely but not wholly radical - washingtonpost.com Highlights - MSNBC.com
Blogger Thoughts: Noted.
WTC7 seems to be a classic controlled demolition. WTC 1 &2 destruction appears to have been enhanced by thermate (a variation of thermite) in addition. Pentagon was not struck by a passenger aircraft. It was a drone or missle.

Oak Avenue, Louisiana (alternate version)
The general rxn to the more colorized version of this shot has been favorable here. (check out my "most views" list. However some hairsplitting diehard critics (nearly ALWAYS male members of our species, were unhappy with the disgraceful over exhuberance of the foliage, grass, sky, air, treebark, stroller in the distance (what a stroke of luck/good timing that was), everything really. So with those guys in mind I offer you this version (thanks again to figuroma for this version too (thats his link below, check it out, he's much more talented than me). Memo to self, I must buy PS CS2 asap...

Balance
Best viewed large. This reduced size really plays havoc with the detail in the palm fronds :(
Taken from the driveway as I was walking back from the in-laws. The two palm trees on either side seemed to frame the view, but I had a 50mm prime lens on the camera and couldn't zoom. It took a bit of "zooming with my feet" to find the right spot.
Later, when I viewed this shot on the computer, I saw the camera's auto white balance had skewed it a bit towards green. I liked the look, and decided to push it even further by adjusting the color temp.
