Scott wasn't the plane that was heading for the white House brought down by
it's passengers,the one passenger talking to his wife on cell phone as it
was being high jacked told his wife im not going to allow this,we have some
guys here who are going to attack the high jackers,or something like
that,his last words she heard her husband say was lets roll to the men who
were going to fight the high jackers,this is when the plane went down.
Is this the plane that looked like a missal crash,was this a put up job
too ?

Something to think about when thinking about Strange 9-11 Flights!
It has been reported this, 1..many names being associated with all these �9-11� operations were in some way linked to families directly related to the Government \ Military, 2...documentary of cell phones at certain altitudes indicates it next to impossible to make calls above about 6000 to 8000 feet, 3... most calls seem to be acted out, 4...there is substantial evidence that certain flights were snuck in in Ohio then moved to a NASA base near by!

The war was illegal and that is according to our own Constitution because the war violated the "law of the land." The U.S. signed the UN Charter which means that the treaty is law of our land. And Congress does want to spend the money because the rich and powerful interests they represent want public money spent because it goes to U.S. corporations The special interests that pull the strings don't think of it as spending money, rather it is for them literally receiving money. That is an important point. Actually look at these wars and you see it is a shake down of the American taxpayer. But these politicians don't care since it is not their money being s spent and the interests they represent are on the receiving end of the deal. The special intersts should not profit. Investigantion should be carried out into who pushed for the war and how they lied to the American people.

I am a Christian who is a Democrat and attend a Church of about 3000 people ,I have always thought that churches should pay taxes,Mine takes in between 3 1/2 to 4 Million Dollars a year,all the pators live like kings ,always on a trip,going overseas and you have to make an appointment to see one of them .
We own over 125 acres with all the building ,total value is about 15 to 20 million dollars and not one penny is paid for taxes,It this fair ? I dont think so nor should you.
The church receives the same services as a taxpayer ,from state,city,and local Government,Without putting one dime in to help the city,or town or anything.
As voters and taxpayers we should demand that all church's and TV Broadcast should be taxed on all property ,and income they receive,its only fair for all of us.The
Trinity Broadcasting Network and the Crouch's live like kings and queen as many others ,like Pat Roberson ,who takes the money given him to buy Diamond mines and race horses..Wonder how many people know this?
(Yes ! The church and the people on TV who has a broadcast and ask for money should be paying taxes,)

Christian TV empire savors a tax blessing

Trinity gets �church� status, a refund

HENDERSONVILLE � A ruling that means Sumner County and the city must refund the theme park-like Trinity Broadcasting Network complex here more than $300,000 in taxes ends an 11-year skirmish and gives the colorful owners much of what they�ve wanted � status as a church.

Under an administrative judge�s decision approved by a state commission last month, televangelists Paul and Jan Crouch have the state�s blessing to stop paying property taxes on their auditorium. It is familiar to millions of TBN viewers worldwide as one location of the Praise the Lord show, a glitz-filled mix of prayer, musical entertainment and requests for money.

Their land also includes the home of the late country music great Conway Twitty and his Twitty City spread.

The Crouches didn�t get a wholesale property tax exemption. TBN must continue to pay on several other parcels found past the ribbon-like entrance banner proclaiming �Trinity Music City USA,� including the Gold, Frankincense & Myrrh Gift Shop, Solid Rock Bistro and the Twitty mansion.

�Obviously, we were hoping for 100% across the board, because Trinity is a church, but we understood the judge�s ruling and we have no objection to it,� said TBN attorney John Casoria, speaking from the international headquarters in Tustin, Calif.

Paul Crouch, son of Assemblies of God missionaries, founded TBN in 1973, taking over a struggling television station in Santa Ana, California to spread the gospel. He and his wife, Jan, hit upon on-air �Praise-a-Thons� in which they praised the Lord, played music and pleaded for donations to stay afloat and grow.

To get the message out, the couple still uses a blend of the Bible, entertainment and fundraising. The impassioned Jan Crouch has always been a standout beside her thin, business-like husband, with her waterfall of ultra-blonde hair, thick eye makeup and frequent tears.

From its base in California, TBN expanded to Tennessee with the Sumner County purchase in 1994; its broadcast center drew visitors, recording studios were set up and the company made plans for a theater.

The Crouches found that the Twitty home continued to draw country music fans, so they capitalized on that, too, to reach people. Tours there continued, and a small section of the complex�s gift shop, which includes inspirational books and videos, Bible-carrying dolls, glow-in-the-dark mugs and vitamins, also features Twitty shirts and postcards.

In the beginning, according to Sumner County Executive Hank Thompson and media reports at the time, Paul Crouch accepted an �entertainment� zoning for the property when TBN moved in and agreed to pay taxes.

Then the Crouches asked for a sign.

TBN wanted a highway sign to point visitors toward the complex, just as Twitty City had. But the Tennessee Department of Transportation said no, that churches don�t get signs.

Thompson said he went with Paul Crouch to try to change TDOT Commissioner Bruce Saltsman�s mind, but they got nowhere.

He had pointed out that religion-based schools have signs, he said, and that this is a religious entertainment center that draws a hoard of money-spending visitors who could use directions.

Paul Crouch, he said, thought the government couldn�t have it both ways: either TBN paid taxes as an entertainment complex and got a sign or it shouldn�t have to pay taxes. Thompson said he agreed.

�They did what they had agreed to do,� said Thompson, who was Hendersonville�s mayor when TBN settled here. �They were paying. They were being good neighbors. They were fulfilling their agreement.

�It�s the worst example of the state not using common sense I�ve run into in 25 years,� said Thompson.

�The sign is what drove them over the edge, I think.�

TBN filed a request for exemptions as a church.

The Crouches were in Haiti, meeting the country�s new president and pushing to open a children�s hospital they�re building there, so a comment couldn�t be arranged, Casoria said Friday.

In October of 1995, however, Paul Crouch told The Tennessean:

�I wouldn�t even have asked for the tax exemption if the highway department had been fair with us and let us have a highway sign.�

A refund of about $300,000 won�t make a loud splash in the coffers of TBN, whose most recently available 990 IRS form shows it took in just over $184.3 million in revenues in 2003. Expenses totaled almost $113.2 million, meaning an excess of about $71.1 million for the year.

It held at least $311.6 million in securities in its investment portfolio, which included foreign television stations, an oil lease and a recreational vehicle park.

Casoria called the estimated $300,000 property tax refund �acceptable and fair� but said Tennessee�s laws are �probably one of the most stringent� of the states TBN deals with.

TBN fought the tax battle for more than 11 years, with requests to the State Board of Equalization and appeals. It made some headway, with taxes reduced along the way. But it was only last month that a state commission approved an administrative judge�s final decision that requires TBN to continue to pay a part of the assessed value of its properties, minus the auditorium as of Jan. 1999.

Neither the county, which collects about $66 million in property taxes, nor the city has expressed an interest in challenging the ruling, though officials aren�t thrilled with having to turn the money back.

Thompson said that the final refund, once the exact amount is determined, probably would have to come out of reserve funds.

�That�s a big lick, a substantial amount of taxes,� he said.

Hendersonville�s share of the refund should be about $20,000, said Marylou Piper, city finance director. If part of this year�s budget that is earmarked for tax refunds falls short, the money could come from a reserve fund with the Board of Mayor and Aldermen�s approval, she said.

Hendersonville Mayoral Assistant Don Long said the tourist traffic Trinity Music City brings in each year means money for the city and county, whether or not the full property tax is paid.

�They�re a very large organization and have a tremendous amount of visitors there every year,� he said.

The complex here is low-key on the outside, except at Christmas when �a million lights� glitter, Creches appear and wreaths and trees drip with ribbons, balls and angels.

Indoors year-round, however, a person can take a cobblestone walk, called Via Dolorosa, a re-creation of an ancient street in the old walled city of Jerusalem that Jesus Christ is said to have trod on the way to be crucified.

The narrow passageway with shop fronts alive with voices from another age leads eventually to a crucifixion scene high on a hill. Lightning flashes and thunder booms from the sound system.

Another building holds the virtual reality theater where, also for free, guests can watch TBN productions, including The Revolutionary, parts 1 and 2, about the life of Jesus.

�They don�t require a lot from the community,� Long said. �They sit there and do their thing.�

This is a PLEA to ignore Tom and his totally idiotic reasoning for the collapse
of the WTC buildings.

The question of banning him has arisen. To do this would make this forum appear undemocratic. Let him post his garbage, but why answer him and keep these threads
going on endlessly? If people feel that his comments hurt the cause because no one
is answering his foolishness, then ban him. But why continue top waste everyone's
time and go over the same disproven arguments that have been put forth by other
boneheads? His tactics are aimed at disruption. All those that are trying to convince him should aim their GOOD work at others whom are more open-minded.

Nine Eleven is too important than to chase down every disruptor that comes along.
It is obvious he will never listen to reason. When he uses an excuse that the molten
pools of steel were caused by the heat of pressure generated from the collapse, he
obviously knows nothing about physics. He is reaching into La-La reasoning to
support the arguments that he has gleaned from other know-nothings. When he
ignores the other mountains of EVIDENCE, he is displaying his stupidity and bias.

The four-year and one half year grind of steady information is paying off. More than 50% of Americans now dis-believe the "official" conspiracy theory. Don't be deterred or have your energy blunted by engaging in fruitless chases down dead-end alleys with
people that have an agenda. We have fallen for it too many times - we should have learned by now.

Granted, it is difficult to stand by and do nothing when these jokers appear. Rather
than engaging in prolonged useless verbal sparring, maybe a single e-mail exposing
these people for what they are would be a better response.

normal life without Joe Public knowing? Maybe these are the ones that are

I only heard on TV that it looked like the passengers had taken over a
plane, then I heard that this couldn't be so as the plane had already
crashed. Then we had government people telling us it had happened. At that
point in the day I wasn't trusting anything our government told us. I wanted
2 hours after the last plane that is popularly accounted for to find out
where the 5th plane was headed.

I have heard that the plane's altitude was too far above the cell towers to
have made a cell call too, even heard that while watching TV that morning
from some TV support crew in the background, suppose he tried it?

You will have to refer this to the expert researchers who would have proof
if the cell phone call was even possible. I wouldn't trust snopes on this
one considering the number of times their articles have the distinct stamp
of government Approval, the GOP stamp and Big Pharma's stamps of approval
too. She rarely ever allows anything questionable to ever have all the facts
in those areas.

It is interesting that ''Let's roll'' was used, that being a Military term
for the start of an offensive. It is also interesting that there isn't a
transcript of that call, so it can be what ever someone said it was, if I am
correct in this assumption.

I believe your first thought was correct.

On Tuesday, February 28, 2006, the City and County of San
Francisco became the first large municipality to call for the
impeachment of George Bush and Dick Cheney, by a 7-3 vote. Supervisors
Sean Elsbernd, Michela Alioto-Pier, and Sophie Maxwell cast the
dissenting votes (Sup. Jake McGoldrick was absent for the vote). Sup.
Chris Daly commenced his introduction of Agenda Item 27 with
"I initially thought this ... would be a noncontroversial piece
of legislation. Perhaps it still is, maybe not-a-unanimous-vote piece of
legislation.

uphold the Constitution."

Sup. Daly again called attention to the strongest argument for
impeachment, Bush lying to the American people about the reason for
preemptively attacking Iraq based on forged documents regarding Saddam
Hussein's "alleged" intent to purchase yellowcake from Niger: "Bush
knowingly included false and misleading evidence in his January 2003
State of the Union Address stating Iraq was seeking to purchase uranium
from Niger to build nuclear weapons." Sup. Daly also pointed to the Bush
administration's failure to respond to the imminent disaster posed by
Hurricane Katrina and asked the other supervisors to imagine if
something like that happened in San Francisco where "primarily
African-American people, some of whom were sick, elderly, disabled
[were] left there basically for five days to die."
As he stated last week, Sup. Daly also returned to the argument
regarding the treatment of prisoners at Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo: "If
you look at the scandals of the sanctioned torture at the Abu Ghraib
prison facility and at Guantanamo Bay, [it is a] clear violation of the
Geneva Convention in terms of treatment of prisoners."
In his presentation on February 21, Daly outlined the financial and
human cost to The City and did so again this past Tuesday, but he also
detailed what the current financial cost to the country has been:
"What could we have done with $240-billion in the last few years?
The United States of America could have fully funded global anti-hunger
efforts for nine years and ended global hunger! We could have made sure
every child is given immunizations for almost 80 years, hired over
4-million school teachers for a year, provided over 11-million students
with four-year scholarships to public universities, fully funded world
aid programs for the next 23 years!"

And Daly also pointed to the ongoing cost of the Iraq invasion by
noting that Joseph E. Stiglitz, Columbia University economist and 2001
winner of the Nobel Prize in Economics, has stated that the eventual
cost of the illegal war could top $2-trillion.
Again referring to Bush's 2003 State of the Union Address, Daly
pointed out that "This is a war that this country entered into under
false pretenses, a case made by the President of the United States of
America. He lied to the American people."
Regarding the motivation for passing the resolution, Daly pointed to
other local efforts and noted that in the 2006 full Board meetings to
date he and his colleagues have passed 7 resolutions that were focused
on state or national issues such as "justice or equity for Filipino
World War II veterans," supporting or opposing infrastructure bonds, and
"weighing in on a Congressional bill on immigration." Daly discussed the
geographic distance of Rep. Nancy Pelosi, Sen. Barbara Boxer, and Sen.
Dianne Feinstein and aptly noted that when the Board of Supervisors
passes such resolutions, "These types of resolutions are helpful [to
state and federal officials] to take the temperature of the
constituency." He also recalled 2004's Prop N that passed with 63%
regarding the withdrawal of U.S. forces from Iraq.
Sup. Daly then pleaded with his colleagues to pass the resolution so
that we could move forward with the impeachment of George Bush and Dick
"Scattershot" Cheney.
Sup. Elsbernd then spoke and requested that the paragraph regarding the
Democratic Party taking back the House of Representatives be stricken,
and Sup. Daly cooperated, but Elsbernd was acting in bad faith and voted
NO anyway.
Board President Aaron Peskin then recognized Sup. Michela Alioto-Pier
who droned "I don't think that we need to be calling for the impeachment
of President Bush and Vice President Cheney."
Sup. Sophie Maxwell did not offer any comment with her NO vote during
the meeting but she returned my phone call Thursday morning and offered
the following. Speaking from anger and frustration regarding social
injustices in our "liberal" City, she felt it was too easy to call for
the impeachment of Bush and Cheney while African-Americans in San
Francisco are being shot with illegal assault weapons and while children
are achieving low grade-point averages in schools as a direct result of
being forced to live in combat zones.
Several times Sup. Maxwell described the living conditions as
third-world in nature in not only Bayview/Hunters Point but in the SROs
where families are subjected to inhumane conditions. Speaking as an
indictment of not only her colleagues but of herself, as well, and
probably Newsom because of his lack of action, Sup. Maxwell declared
"WE need to be impeached." The supervisor's NO vote was apparently
meant as a protest given out of anger and frustration she was feeling
during the meeting.
When asked if she would change her vote should Newsom veto Sup.
Daly's resolution, Sup. Maxwell didn't think that situation would occur
but when pressed she stated that "the situation would be different" and
she would deliberate accordingly.
ANALYSIS AND COMMENTARY
Let's start with the San Francisco Chronicle's rendition of this story.
Was the Chronicle's placement, considering the historic nature of this
resolution, at the top of the front page? No. It made the front page,
but Edward Epstein's and Charlie Goodyear's "S.F. supervisors ask
lawmakers to impeach Bush" was relegated to the bottom right with a
headline of about 18 point. It might as well have been buried in the
business section.
While the reporters queried Mayor Gavin Newsom, the mayor treated
the historic resolution like a right-wing talk radio host and the
Chronicle quoted him as saying Sup. Daly's resolution didn't make it on
the list of important things to sign.
Newsom didn't indicate whether or not he would exercise yet another
devastating veto.
What's truly disturbing here is that Sups. Elsbernd and Alioto-Pier
treat this resolution -- and the heart-felt intent behind it -- in a
Republican-style careless, reckless, and wanton disregard for HUMAN
RIGHTS. Is it a conspiracy to act as obstructionists to disrupt and,
indeed, subvert the progressive principles of the honorable Chris Daly?
Or is it that Elsbernd and Alioto-Pier just don't care about human
rights violations against predominantly people of color? Whatever their
motives is almost irrelevant. But what IS relevant is that by their
actions Elsbernd and Alioto-Pier have not just shunned progressive
principles; by their actions or lack thereof they have essentially
condoned the torture of fellow humans; they have condoned the Bush
administration's illegal and preemptive attack on Iraq which has caused
the deaths of more than 35,000 men, women, and children; and they have
exhibited a perversion of morality that says profits over people.
My telephone conversation with Sup. Maxwell yesterday not only energized
me, but I wish she had spoken during the hearing about her anger and
frustration regarding local social injustices. Her colleagues,
particularly the conservatives sitting in the chamber, should take her
passion as a warning sign that Sup. Maxwell has retapped her
revolutionary spirit. Her no vote should be taken as an act of protest.
Speaking of the nightmarish possibility of a mayoral veto, the 7-3 vote
is not veto-proof, and Newsom has up to 10 days to make his decision. If
Newsom vetoes the resolution, it will be his most pronounced swing to
the right. If he decides NOT to act, it also exhibits Newsom's swing to
the right but he can argue (unconvincingly to me) that the resolution
didn't need his signature and his failure to sign means he intended the
resolution to pass.
But the resolution passes with Newsom's signature, and in this case my
feelings and thoughts about Newsom are irrelevant. What's important is
the passage of Chris Daly's resolution, and the first stage of this
ongoing national story will come to rest. The next stage of the story
will commence to bring justice and peace to Casey Sheehan and the tens
of thousands of American and Iraqi men, women, and children who are the
victims of who I consider to be the biggest mass murderers of the 21st
Century.

And our City becomes the first major metropolis to call for the
impeachment of George W. Bush and Richard B. Cheney for their crimes
against humanity.
