While checking out Randi Rhodes's website today regarding Paul Thompson's interview I noticed a link to 911pressfortruth.com posted.
This film was previewed at the recent Chicago conference and received a very warm welcome. It features family members Lauri Van Auken, Mindy Kleinberg, Patty Casazza, Monica Gabrielle, Sally Regenhard, and Bob McIlvaine. The primary focus of the movie appeared to be Pakistani ISI ties to 9/11 based on Paul Thompson's Terror Timeline. This may be the movie to share with older friends and family.

Unlike JFK, World Trade Center does not directly address the many challenges to the official story of the attack. However, like JFK, it may have a profound effect on the public's understanding of the film's subject by depicting events that have been ignored by the mainstream media, such as sounds of explosions as the Towers came down, molten metal in the rubble pile, and the precipitous collapse of WTC 7 at 5:20 in the afternoon.
World Trade Center follows McLoughlin (played by Nicholas Cage) and Jimeno (played by Michael Pena), and their families, on the day of the attack. The two men, who had never met eachother, are in other parts of the city as the attack begins. Neither see the plane crashes, and World Trade Center doesn't show them, keeping the movie focused on events that the men and their families witnessed.

August 3rd at 7:30PM 911 Eyewitness Hoboken will be shown at the Milky Weg in downtown Amsterdam by Daan DeWitt and the local Dutch Community. You can see the site for this at Daan Speak Web Site. After the film and a Question and Answer session will follow. It is expected that Rick Siegel will also give and interview with the Dutch National TV during his visit there.

Back when Bush was elected, there was a TV show on Comedy Central called "That's My Bush". And it was hilarious. Then 9/11 happened and everything got real serious. That show went away, and we put our faith in this guy who couldn't run a baseball team, let alone a goddamn oil company.
Q: You bring up 9/11 — there are books, there are films like "Loose Change" that suggest that the U.S. was even complicit in letting it happen…
Corey: Or had a hand in it. Everybody wants to talk about conspiracy theories. Look at the film! You show me a hundred yard trench that leads up to the Pentagon. You show me the wreckage. Show me and I'll be like, all right, I was wrong. You can't see it. If a plane that size had flown into the goddamn Pentagon, there would have been so much damage. There would have been hazmat people there protecting against jet fuel. You would have seen the wings for Christ's sake. You would have seen something. A plane that big does not vaporize.
There are too many questions and not enough answers. At the time, I understand why nobody asked questions, because we were all paralyzed. But if the government is lying to them about other shit, is it so out of the question that they're lying to you about this? Rumsfeld will lie to your fucking face and he'll make you smile about it.

Yesterday, Berlin's 2nd largest daily newspaper issued a review for "Loose Change", the article was originally in the "Feuilleton" section but was moved to the "Politik" section. This has been a banner week so far for 9/11 coverage in Germany. The BZ article is the Fifth to appear in a German paper since July 29th. Details here.

Titled Five Years Later - How Safe Are We? the special will tie in to the 5th anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks in New York City, Washington DC, and Pennsylvania. The special will focus on what the government is doing to prevent any future attacks as well talk with experts on how the anxiety of 9/11 still affects Americans.
But that's not all, folks. On September 11th Ms. Couric will be anchoring her evening news show direct from Ground Zero in Manhattan. It's just a part of the special coverage CBS News plans to have to mark the occasion. In Washington, DC, July 2005. Check it out here:

Some staff members and commissioners of the Sept. 11 panel concluded that the Pentagon's initial story of how it reacted to the 2001 terrorist attacks may have been part of a deliberate effort to mislead the commission and the public rather than a reflection of the fog of events on that day, according to sources involved in the debate.
Suspicion of wrongdoing ran so deep that the 10-member commission, in a secret meeting at the end of its tenure in summer 2004, debated referring the matter to the Justice Department for criminal investigation, according to several commission sources.

"We to this day don't know why NORAD [the North American Aerospace Command] told us what they told us," said Thomas H. Kean, the former New Jersey Republican governor who led the commission. "It was just so far from the truth. . . . It's one of those loose ends that never got tied."

"I was shocked at how different the truth was from the way it was described," John Farmer, a former New Jersey attorney general who led the staff inquiry into events on Sept. 11, said in a recent interview. "The tapes told a radically different story from what had been told to us and the public for two years. . . . This is not spin. This is not true."

John F. Lehman, a Republican commission member and former Navy secretary, said in a recent interview that he believed the panel may have been lied to but that he did not believe the evidence was sufficient to support a criminal referral.
"My view of that was that whether it was willful or just the fog of stupid bureaucracy, I don't know," Lehman said. "But in the order of magnitude of things, going after bureaucrats because they misled the commission didn't seem to make sense to me." |
