|  Every election cycle, America's rulers have to contend with putting up some pale pretense of democracy only if the voters don't support it, the rulers will circumvent popular will. This is increasingly dangerous to our rulers who don't quite understand the internet. So this 4th, we see our distant aggressions celebrated as 'defending America' while both parties at home struggle to distance themselves from the disasterous reality of these wars.
