Subject: 9/11 Update - 2/21 tnvl news

9/11 News : http://www.tvnewslies.org/news/#911

· Many Come To The Rescue And Vouch For The Integrity And Honesty Of
BYU Professor Steven E. Jones - In fact, if Jones is to ever act as
credible expert witness on behalf of the people of the United States
versus the 9/11 mass murder culprits, he better start answering
questions right now since the American people deserve to know about
his past in order that his testimony doesn't backfire on severe public
scrutiny and harsh cross-examination.

· The Impossibility of Flying Heavy Aircraft Without Training - Seeing
nothing outside, Mr. Hanjour would be forced to divert his attention
to his instrument panel, where he'd be faced with a bewildering array
of instruments. He would then have to very quickly interpret his
heading, ground track, altitude, and airspeed information on the
displays before he could even figure out where in the world he was,
much less where the Pentagon was located in relation to his position!

· 'President's gone insane' – 9/11 dad - How, asks Gadiel, whose son
James died in the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center, can a
company owned by a terror-linked country get control of our nation's
ports?

· A Half-Dozen Questions About 9/11 They Don't Want You to Ask - But
there is surprisingly little discussion of the basic higher-order
political factors surrounding 9/11, factors that do not require
knowledge of the melting point of girder steel or the unknowable
piloting abilities of the presumed perpetrators. Let us proceed, then,
in a spirit of detached scientific inquiry, to ask questions the 9/11
Commission was unprepared to ask.

Wow.. thanks for the hostile response :D

I posted this because it IS interesting and it REINFORCES the fact that OUR
gov't is the real terrorist. We know that the Bush family has incredible
financial interests in UAE / Kuwait / Saudi Arabia - this is simply another
blatant show of Bush's personal interests being put in front of any even
remote interest in the US or its citizens.

I did not state that the Arabs were terrorists. I did not state that if
arabs own the ports they are more vulnerable to terrorism". In fact, I
simply posted the news story without any commentary at all. Settle yourself
down.

I am very much awake, perhaps more than you realize.. lol. My main interest
with this news story is the ongoing financial partnership between the Bush
family and those he uses as SCAPEGOATS for his reign of terror. Namely, the
Arab nations. (Note, I said scapegoats - meaning falsely accused.)

Anyway. I'm new to this group, not to the government-as-terrorist belief. I
m in a position where I feel the deep need to become an active voice and
stand up to our so called leaders, I was hoping this group would be a good
place for information along those lines. Perhaps yelling at someone over a
post would only serve to hinder your goal? Kind of makes me want to say
well who the hell is this greg nixon person and why would I want to help
him? He's a little irrational...." Keep your flames to the information in
the post, not the poster. Don't presume to tell me to wake up and use
vulgarities directed towards me until you KNOW what I think and believe.

Who fucking cares! The Arabs are NOT the terrorists OUR government IS. This
Story is a planted distraction to re-inforce the MYTH that 9/11 was ARAB
Hijackers, therefore if ARABS owns the ports they are vulnerable to
terrorism. FALSE FALSE FALSE

wake up!

Cait <ansith@gmail.com> wrote:

WASHINGTON - Two Republican governors on Monday questioned a Bush
administration decision allowing an Arab-owned company to operate six major
U. S. ports, saying they may try to cancel lease arrangements at ports in
their states.
New York Gov. George Pataki and Maryland Gov. Robert Ehrlich voiced doubts
about the acquisition of a British company that has been running the U.S.
ports by Dubai Ports World, a state-owned business in the United Arab
Emirates.
The British company, Peninsular and Oriental, runs major commercial
operations at ports in Baltimore, Miami, New Jersey, New Orleans, New York
and Philadelphia.
“Ensuring the security of New York’s port operations is paramount and I am
very concerned with the purchase of Peninsular & Oriental Steam by Dubai
Ports World,” Pataki said in a news release.
“I have directed the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey to explore
all legal options that may be available to them in regards to this
transaction,” said the New York governor, who is still in the hospital
recovering from an appendectomy.
No advance word
Ehrlich, concerned about security at the Port of Baltimore, said Monday he
is “very troubled” that Maryland officials got no advance notice before the
Bush administration approved an Arab company’s takeover of the operations at
the six ports.
“We needed to know before this was a done deal, given the state of where we
are concerning security,” Ehrlich told reporters in the State House rotunda
in Annapolis.
The state of Maryland is considering its options, up to and including
voiding the contract for the Port of Baltimore, Ehrlich said, adding: “We
have a lot of discretion in the contract.”
Pataki is also asking the federal government to “share all critical relevant
information made available to the Council on Foreign Investment during the
course of the review of the purchase,” a reference to the federal panel that
approved the deal.
New York’s legal options could include canceling the lease for operation,
effectively shutting out Dubai Ports World from port activities. P&O signed
a 30-year lease with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey in 2000
to operate the Port Newark Container Terminal.
The governors are the latest elected officials from both parties to complain
about the deal.
House Homeland Security chairman Peter King, R-N.Y., has been one of the
most vocal, saying secret assurances obtained by the government don’t go far
enough to protect the nation’s seaports.
Democratic New Jersey Sen. Robert Menendez joined the chorus of complaints
on Monday.
“We wouldn’t turn over our customs service or our border patrol to a foreign
government,” Menendez said during a Monday news conference in Newark. “We
shouldn’t turn over the ports of the United States, either.”
‘Very extensive process’
Menendez said he and Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y., will introduce
legislation prohibiting the sale of port operations to foreign governments.
Bush administration officials, including Homeland Security Secretary Michael
Chertoff and Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, have defended the decision.
During a stop Monday in Birmingham, Ala., Gonzales said the administration
had a “very extensive process” for reviewing such transactions that “takes
into account matters of national security, takes into account concerns about
port security.”
Critics have cited the UAE’s history as an operational and financial base
for the hijackers who carried out the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. In addition
they contend the UAE was an important transfer point for shipments of
smuggled nuclear components sent to Iran, North Korea and Libya by a
Pakistani scientist.
Frustration about the ports takeover put two Maryland gubernatorial
candidates on the same side of an issue.
During a campaign stop in Bladensburg, Md., Monday, Baltimore Mayor Martin
O’Malley was adamant that the operations of his city’s port not be turned
over to the Arab-owned company.
“I believe that President’s Bush’s decision to turn over the operations of
any American port is reckless,” said O’Malley, who is seeking the Democratic
nomination to oppose Ehrlich in the Maryland governor’s race. “We are not
going to turn over the Port of Baltimore to a foreign government.”

Greetings fellow quote lovers:

I keep getting the question; WHY DO I KEEP PUBLISHING links
to information that point to a conspiracy regarding 9-11?

I can only say that QAD was first created to promote a set
of ideals that animated and continue to animate my life. The
greatest symbol in America is the symbol of Lady Justice,
blind-folded with scales in her hand.

The metaphor means that Justice stands blind and it must be
ideals and principles that move the scales- not identification
with a political party...not one's religion, not one's race.
What I mean by this is that your religion or race or political
affiliation should have no bearing to Lady Justice.

The test of ideals and principles come when you are challenged
to apply them. Until then, they are just concepts. I have
found over the years that Dems supported an immoral bombing
of former Yugoslavia because "their President" was in office.

Reps now support immoral bombings of Iraq and many favor attack-
ing Iran because "their" guy is in office. This is not blind
application of principles.

9-11 was a carefully constructed plan by a cabal within our
government... top create a platform of moral outrage to pursue
a foreign policy agenda. While the President read "Goat Boy",
he became a modern day Nero...reading instead of fiddling.

If one dares apply the ideals and principles upon which QAD was
founded, one will be led to the Truth. It is horrible and
devastating. With this knowledge, you will forever have lost
a precious innocence.

When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a
child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put
away childish things.
-Chapter 13, verse 11 Paul's first to the school at Corinth

and

Brethren, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice
be ye children, but in understanding be men.
-Chapter 14, verse 20

I thank you for reading.

Dear Friends and Colleagues,
The chap connecting me to the internet here has been installing
new gear this weekend and I've been unable to post for more than 48
hours now. Sorry.
In a couple days I expect to go on the road again--this time in
search of a location more appropriate for the establishment of Free
Voice of America Radio Services.
So my posts will be erratic (e.g., internet cafes). I don't yet
know whether this will be for just a few days or for a few weeks.
Anyway, I'll do the best I can.
I'll close with a reminder of the Presidents Day "March for 9/11
Truth" at 10 a.m. tomorrow at socalled Ground Zero in NYC. Yeah!

Yours for all species,

Pondo

PS: I'd expected to be able to post this to you Sunday evening but
it's Monday afternoon already, so instead of providing a last-minute
reminder for the "March for 9/11 Truth," I'm instead eagerly awaiting
word of how it went. -- kl, pp

Subject: The elitist economic boom, the 68th Letter

Bangkok, February 12 2006

Dear reader, this is the 68th Letter of an Autonomous Thinker

The Asian elite benefits in the first place from the the Asian economic
boom.
"China is trying to sweatshop its way to success through low wages and
the exploitation of a workforce." (Bangkok Post 1-1-2006)
The poor working masses have hardly any prospect on a better life, the
rural masspeople are even worse off.

About three billion people live in Asia. Hedrick-Wong describes in the
Bangkok Post of 30-12-2005 ( www.bangkokpost.com) the Asian middle
class as those who earn more than $ 5000 a year:
"As many as 80 million people in China, 15 million in Thailand, 12
million each in India and Indonesia, 9 million in Malaysia and 6
million in the Philippines make the grade by that measure.
Another 200 million or so in India now have an annual income above $
1500 and are buying shampoos, toothpaste, bicycles and other basic
consumer goods."

The policy of the Asian elite is however determined by only one rule:
how can we increase our own wealth and power. Masspeople get some
crumbs of the economic pie when they are able to work long and hard.
Elderly, sick, incapable, farmworkers, poor women etcetera do not
profit form the economic boom.

The leading paradigm in our society is the improvement of the life of
elitepeople, what happens to other people is secondary. That a
relatively small middle class also benefits from the increasing
affluence of the elite is accidentally, something that is called
collateral damage in wars. It has no influence on the development of
the eliteworld. The differences between the life in the eliteworld and
in the massworld are immense and growing. The two worlds are even
drifting faster and further apart in times of economic booms.

The leading paradigm should change to the idea that all people should
have equal status., that all people should have the same possibility on
decent housing, good health care, clean water, adequate education
etcetera as the elite has.

But change happens only when masspeople show that they also have power,
that they can invade the privileged eliteworld just as elitepeople
carry out a controlling invasion in the massworld.

Hello Pondo,

I've now almost finished David Icke's book 'The Biggest Secret'

I'm quite impressed, and think you might appreciate it.

While some of it appears a little far fetched, then gradually the
concept sinks in, and I now believe most of what he says is probably
true.

The Chapter which eventually convinced me is the one about Diana's
murder. There seems to be liitle doubt once that is examined.

You can dowload the whole book (about 10 megs) and then read it

Mr. President,

I am writting to you for assistance and support of Uganda's primary
school education. The government, under pressure from us introduced
universal primarly education, free schooling for all. Most of the
schools however have no windows, chairs, books but thousands of
students. The teacher student ratio is one teacher per 90 and above
students or learners. These teachers themselves did not get a good
education. Many of them have never seen a computer or hear our radio
talk about the internet. Recently when they came to me to assist them
recover their pay from the government (which had been MISPLACED by
junior government officials) 1000 teachers asked for help. They all
listen to Greater African Radio and they want to learn computers,
internet, twin with different schools abroad and get good training. Is
there somebody, retired or with time, who can come to Uganda and train
these teachers in early learning methods? The Radio can accomodate
such a person the teachers would be numerous, but we would have no
money to pay for air tickets--just food and basic accommodation (water,
electricity and motorcyle).

Please find somebody who can help.

Best Regards
Kihura Nkuba

We know that the Bush family has incredible financial interests in UAE / Kuwait / Saudi Arabia - this is simply another blatant show of Bush's personal interests being put in front of any even remote interest in the US or its citizens.

I did not state that the Arabs were terrorists. I did not state that if "arabs own the ports they are more vulnerable to terrorism". In fact, I simply posted the news story without any commentary at all. Settle yourself down.

I am very much awake, perhaps more than you realize.. lol. My main interest with this news story is the ongoing financial partnership between the Bush family and those he uses as SCAPEGOATS for his reign of terror. Namely, the Arab nations. (Note, I said scapegoats - meaning falsely accused.)

Anyway. I'm new to this group, not to the government-as-terrorist belief. Cait <ansith@gmail.com> wrote:
WASHINGTON - Two Republican governors on Monday questioned a Bush administration decision allowing an Arab-owned company to operate six major U. S. ports, saying they may try to cancel lease arrangements at ports in their states.
New York Gov. George Pataki and Maryland Gov. Robert Ehrlich voiced doubts about the acquisition of a British company that has been running the U.S. ports by Dubai Ports World, a state-owned business in the United Arab Emirates.
The British company, Peninsular and Oriental, runs major commercial operations at ports in Baltimore, Miami, New Jersey, New Orleans, New York and Philadelphia.
“Ensuring the security of New York’s port operations is paramount and I am very concerned with the purchase of Peninsular & Oriental Steam by Dubai Ports World,” Pataki said in a news release.
“I have directed the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey to explore all legal options that may be available to them in regards to this transaction,” said the New York governor, who is still in the hospital recovering from an appendectomy.
No advance word
Ehrlich, concerned about security at the Port of Baltimore, said Monday he is “very troubled” that Maryland officials got no advance notice before the Bush administration approved an Arab company’s takeover of the operations at the six ports.
“We needed to know before this was a done deal, given the state of where we are concerning security,” Ehrlich told reporters in the State House rotunda in Annapolis.
The state of Maryland is considering its options, up to and including voiding the contract for the Port of Baltimore, Ehrlich said, adding: “We have a lot of discretion in the contract.”
Pataki is also asking the federal government to “share all critical relevant information made available to the Council on Foreign Investment during the course of the review of the purchase,” a reference to the federal panel that approved the deal.
New York’s legal options could include canceling the lease for operation, effectively shutting out Dubai Ports World from port activities. P&O signed a 30-year lease with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey in 2000 to operate the Port Newark Container Terminal.
The governors are the latest elected officials from both parties to complain about the deal.
House Homeland Security chairman Peter King, R-N.Y., has been one of the most vocal, saying secret assurances obtained by the government don’t go far enough to protect the nation’s seaports.
Democratic New Jersey Sen. Robert Menendez joined the chorus of complaints on Monday.
“We wouldn’t turn over our customs service or our border patrol to a foreign government,” Menendez said during a Monday news conference in Newark. “We shouldn’t turn over the ports of the United States, either.”
‘Very extensive process’
Menendez said he and Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y., will introduce legislation prohibiting the sale of port operations to foreign governments.
Bush administration officials, including Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff and Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, have defended the decision.
During a stop Monday in Birmingham, Ala., Gonzales said the administration had a “very extensive process” for reviewing such transactions that “takes into account matters of national security, takes into account concerns about port security.”
Critics have cited the UAE’s history as an operational and financial base for the hijackers who carried out the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. In addition, they contend the UAE was an important transfer point for shipments of smuggled nuclear components sent to Iran, North Korea and Libya by a Pakistani scientist.
Frustration about the ports takeover put two Maryland gubernatorial candidates on the same side of an issue.
During a campaign stop in Bladensburg, Md., Monday, Baltimore Mayor Martin O’Malley was adamant that the operations of his city’s port not be turned over to the Arab-owned company.
“I believe that President’s Bush’s decision to turn over the operations of any American port is reckless,” said O’Malley, who is seeking the Democratic nomination to oppose Ehrlich in the Maryland governor’s race. “We are not going to turn over the Port of Baltimore to a foreign government.”

This should be no more interesting than if the Japanese own skycrapers in L.A.

Who fucking cares! The Arabs are NOT the terrorists OUR government IS. This Story is a planted distraction to re-inforce the MYTH that 9/11 was ARAB Hijackers, therefore if ARABS owns the ports they are vulnerable to terrorism. FALSE FALSE FALSE

wake up!

Cait <ansith@gmail.com> wrote:

Subject: Yesterday's NYC March for 9/11 Truth

Just now got in the door after my trip to be with Greg & Friends up in NYC for the March for 9/11 Truth.

I will not even share how much, in terms of dollars and cents, that that trip set me back. (I could have flown to Florida for the weekend instead of braving 20-something frigid temps and a way-overpriced tiny hotel room in NYC)... But please know that it was worth every single penny - and then some.

If there were any of you present and I did not introduce myself? My apologies - I just did not know who you were. But if you saw me there, you saw that there was no place else I would have rather been than with my Internet (now real-life) friends, Greg Nixon and Jolly Roger. (not to forget, I also made a bunch of other delightful new friends - from Delaware, NJ, and NY - one more caring about getting out the truth than the next).

Talk about an awesome event.

While we were not an exceedingly large number (my guess is that we may have had approximately 50 people, all total), the energy of the crowd was unreal. We were mostly older folks (that is, the 30something to 60something set, I'd say) but a march filled with 18 year olds could not have been more passionate - nor more energetic.

It is hard to capture with words what was truly one of the most fulfilling days I can recall. While the 9/24 march of approximately 300,000 in DC was by far a more grand and spectacular event? Yesterday's 9/11 March in NYC was far more emotional an experience for this truth activist.

Each one of us chanted and educated, we screamed from our hearts the very outrage and utter disgust we may have been bottling up inside for, like - forever. And admittedly while Amy Goodman, Rudi Guiliani, the folks from the NY Times and Elliott Spitzer were not available (ahem) to see us? We shouted long and passionately outside their doors and windows. I have no doubt whatsoever that each person inside each of the buildings heard us on the sidewalk below. (Oh - a tiny note - We got the honour of Amy Goodman waving down at us regally from her window above us. No doubt she was afraid to come down and chat)...

The star du jour, of course, was the brainchild and organizer of the event, Greg Nixon. I will never, as long as I live, forget the way that Greg's voice boomed his insinuations (every one justified, in my opinion) at each of the left gatekeepers who serve to keep the truth from our citizens. Greg put his total heart and soul into the event and watching his passion and outrage in action is truly something I will never forget.

To all those who are reading this, please know that as I see it, yesterday's event woke up thousands of New Yorkers on the streets in the three hours that we walked and then, finally, found our final "camp" at a huge NYC public library. The looks on the faces of the residents and workers of NY were a sight to behold - Most looked puzzled, some nodded in agreement, some were downright angry and insinuated that we were all crazy, but one young man (looked like he might have been from a small Midwest town) spoke with me for a moment and his face became as white as a ghost as he said, "Nooooooo waaaaaaaayyyyyy." But in that look (you know that *holy s*&% look)... that he "got" our message and went home to Kansas (or wherever) a changed (albeit shaken) young man.

Huge thanks to Greg Nixon for spearheading yesterday's AWESOME event!!! Never have I been to any march, protest, etc., where so relatively few people accomplished so tremendously much. Thanks also rightfully go to all of NY9/11truth, who supported us, brought along many participants, and carried a huge banner that said "9/11 WAS AN INSIDE JOB." And also, credit and thanks to Les Jamieson, who arranged for the film crew from the Netherlands to change the scheduled plan and be with us to film our event (rather than another event on Saturday). No doubt our overseas friends will get to have a special glimpse into American outrage at its grittiest!

And during a late lunch that included many organizers, something tells me that yesterday's one day event was only the beginning for many 9/11 truth activists.

THATS FUCKIN RADICAL!!!!!! Thanks for sharing that with us Cathy! And also for taking the time to write it for us. Things seem to be going well here on this front. In the last 4 days i have flyered 300 houses here in the neighborhood. Have woken up damn near EVERYONE that works in the local safeway and as a result they in turn are waking OTHERS UP!. With the exception of a couple of dimwitted moronic idiots that is. I have been getting feedback from every end of the spectrum about the show! And with the exception of one slightly frightening email they have ALL BEEN POSITIVE! If someone could please get me in touch with the nederlanders so that i can get a copy of the footage to show on my show it will be very much appreciated.

With much love for ALL OF YOU,

Kevin.

I am in 100% agreement with My brother naveed on this Greg. Annd especially if someone is brand new, we should if we have a problem with what they are posting FIRST gently persuade them and coach them a little. Then if THAT fails WARN them, and then get tough if that fails, And as a final step BAN THEM.

I'm in a position where I feel the deep need to become an active voice and stand up to our so called leaders, I was hoping this group would be a good place for information along those lines. Perhaps yelling at someone over a post would only serve to hinder your goal? Kind of makes me want to say "well who the hell is this greg nixon person and why would I want to help him?

Well, you've just lost any and all credibility that I thought you had.
Posting news reports that are in some way linked to the events of 9/11, *I
feel* is relevant. If that's not the case here, thats fine. It would have
been very easy to state that politely in your first reply or even your
second.

If you'd like more people to take you seriously and listen to what you have
to say, perhaps attacking them isn't the best way to go about accomplishing
that end?

Or perhaps you are simply too narrow minded to see the relevance to this
event.. Bush and his cronies with their HUGE financial involvement in UAE
plays a MAJOR role in 9/11.. or did you miss that bit?

Anyway.. Enough of this crap.. there are other groups out there who can
handle discussing 9/11 without such childishness. I'll seek them out instead
I'd much rather send money and donate time and energy to someone leading a
cause that can at the VERY least discuss that cause without acidic and
witless comments.

simply posted the news story without any commentary at all. Settle yourself

I am very much awake, perhaps more than you realize.. lol. My main interest
with this news story is the ongoing financial partnership between the Bush

WASHINGTON - Two Republican governors on Monday questioned a Bush
administration decision allowing an Arab-owned company to operate six major

New York Gov. George Pataki and Maryland Gov. Robert Ehrlich voiced doubts
about the acquisition of a British company that has been running the U.S.
ports by Dubai Ports World, a state-owned business in the United Arab

The British company, Peninsular and Oriental, runs major commercial
operations at ports in Baltimore, Miami, New Jersey, New Orleans, New York

“Ensuring the security of New York’s port operations is paramount and I am

Kevin, you are more of an inspiration to me than you know. I have
done many things in the past couple of years that I would not have
done without reading your posts - and those of several others. Not
everyone is born as naturally courageous as you are. You always seem
to take it as a given, that anyone could do things as easily as you
can, and fail to see that you have such strength that does not come
naturally with others. But with the example of you and people like
you? You give others encouragement to go out and do similar things
and take risks that we might not otherwise have taken.

By sharing your activism with us over time, you give the rest of us
more courage.

So to you - and all the rest of you out there just like you? I thank
you all.

Big hugs,

moronic idiots that is. I have been getting feedback from every end
of the spectrum about the show! And with the exception of one
slightly frightening email they have ALL BEEN POSITIVE! If someone
could please get me in touch with the nederlanders so that i can get
a copy of the footage to show on my show it will be very much
appreciated.

worth every single penny - and then some.

My apologies - I just did not know who you were. But if you saw me
there, you saw that there was no place else I would have rather been
than with my Internet (now real-life) friends, Greg Nixon and Jolly
Roger. (not to forget, I also made a bunch of other delightful new
friends - from Delaware, NJ, and NY - one more caring about getting
out the truth than the next).

we may have had approximately 50 people, all total), the energy of
the crowd was unreal. We were mostly older folks (that is, the
30something to 60something set, I'd say) but a march filled with 18
year olds could not have been more passionate - nor more energetic.

300,000 in DC was by far a more grand and spectacular event?
Yesterday's 9/11 March in NYC was far more emotional an experience
for this truth activist.

the very outrage and utter disgust we may have been bottling up
inside for, like - forever. And admittedly while Amy Goodman, Rudi
Guiliani, the folks from the NY Times and Elliott Spitzer were not
available (ahem) to see us? We shouted long and passionately outside
their doors and windows. I have no doubt whatsoever that each person
inside each of the buildings heard us on the sidewalk below. (Oh - a
tiny note - We got the honour of Amy Goodman waving down at us
regally from her window above us. No doubt she was afraid to come
down and chat)...

the event, Greg Nixon. I will never, as long as I live, forget the
way that Greg's voice boomed his insinuations (every one justified,
in my opinion) at each of the left gatekeepers who serve to keep the
truth from our citizens. Greg put his total heart and soul into the
event and watching his passion and outrage in action is truly
something I will never forget.

> To all those who are reading this, please know that as I see it,
yesterday's event woke up thousands of New Yorkers on the streets in
the three hours that we walked and then, finally, found our
final "camp" at a huge NYC public library. The looks on the faces of
the residents and workers of NY were a sight to behold - Most looked
puzzled, some nodded in agreement, some were downright angry and
insinuated that we were all crazy, but one young man (looked like he
might have been from a small Midwest town) spoke with me for a moment
and his face became as white as a ghost as he said, "Nooooooo
waaaaaaaayyyyyy." But in that look (you know that *holy s*&%
look)... that he "got" our message and went home to Kansas (or
wherever) a changed (albeit shaken) young man.

> Huge thanks to Greg Nixon for spearheading yesterday's AWESOME
event!!! Never have I been to any march, protest, etc., where so
relatively few people accomplished so tremendously much. Thanks also
rightfully go to all of NY9/11truth, who supported us, brought along
many participants, and carried a huge banner that said "9/11 WAS AN
INSIDE JOB." And also, credit and thanks to Les Jamieson, who
arranged for the film crew from the Netherlands to change the
scheduled plan and be with us to film our event (rather than another
event on Saturday). No doubt our overseas friends will get to have a
special glimpse into American outrage at its grittiest!

tells me that yesterday's one day event was only the beginning for
many 9/11 truth activists.

Subject: Tampering with the Internet

I received a call yesterday from someone requesting permission to repost something I had written onto his website. He mentioned in passing that the second photograph had disappeared off the "Public Extermination Project" article on L.A. Indymedia. He thought I had removed it.

I do not have the capability of doing so, and believed it to be an impossibility for anyone else to do so. When I checked the site yesterday, sure enough, the second photograph had been expunged.

The ability to alter and thus potentially destroy archived material is not something I had believed possible. I was aware that the Indymedias sometimes "hide" or even remove posts, but the fact that there is now someone/somewhere damaging the internal integrity of previously published articles is something I find frightening.

What next? Does this capability expand to changing words and phrases in previously published works? Does this include the ability to alter emails as well?

I believe we all need to be aware that this is now going on. What we can do about it is another matter.

Finger scans replace cash at Gonzaga
SPOKANE, Wash. -- About 400 students at Gonzaga University are among the first in the nation to use finger scans to pay for meals and other expenses in the campus area. Sodexho Inc., the company that runs food service operations at Gonzaga, has launched pilot programs at the Spokane school and the University of North Texas to see if "biometric finger scans" are workable. Spokeswoman Sarah Cody said Sodexho will see how well they work before deciding whether to use the technology at some of the 900 other campuses the company serves.
