Been toying with nico's idea of hand-held from points nearby every since he mentioned it...........but I think we'd do well to re-examine the possibilities with some stuff we've been sorta overlooking. Namely speed and exhaust trails.....
For instance, the various speeds of the vehicle that were found--all outside the mfr's envelope. To exceed that by as much as 100mph at sea level is impossible. There would be such banging, vibrations, violent shaking--and think how it would look to the world if a wing fell off before it even got to the towers! It would be beyond embarrassment.
So either the speeds are incorrect (thru missing frames) , or the aircraft ID is. Or it is entirely the work of fiction.
Second thing that's being overlooked I think, is the exhaust. Planes with jet fuel don't leave exhaust trails except in cold temps, but things that burn rocket fuel do leave exhaust trails at sea level...
I'm fond of this one--only one not shot against a clear sky.. http://thewebfairy.com/911/squarecrash/squarecrash-dk.htm It's the right size (small) but does it leave an exhaust trail? Looks like a rapid descent. Where is it coming from?
http://thewebfairy.com/911/krash/ The background doesn't seem right on PI's shot--It doesn't match up on the right and left side of the tower.
