The American mainstream media, which are owned and controlled by neoconservatives and neoliberals, are censoring vital information about the Bilderberg Group for the same reason that they have censored vital information about the role of neoconservatives and neoliberals in engineering the Iraq War: they are protecting their power base from democratic scrutiny and accountability. They are striving to create a global dictatorship whose operations are entirely hidden from the consciousness of the general public.

They substantially control much of the "alternative" media as well, which can be counted on in most cases not to mention a word about the Bilderberg Group. Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.

Those few alternative media outlets which do dare to broach this subject will usually be subjected to campaigns of nasty harassment.
