It has been the neocon strategy all along to use, manipulate and prop up Bush as their tool to create a military police state in the United States and all around the world. Bush is a mere figurehead, and could be easily discarded at any moment. The neocon/neolib political machine in the Republican and Democratic Parties and the mainstream media is vastly more wealthy and more powerful than the hapless bumbler Bush.
The neocons have left behind themselves a long trail of candid statements which express their totalitarian agenda, but the mainstream media (which they of course control) are systematically disconnecting the dots.
Unless a critical mass of American leaders challenges this political machine effectively now, we truly are facing an immense disaster. But there is a catch: any American who dares to challenge the neocons and neolibs instantly comes under devastating attack. The neorads so far have been easily able to pick off and bury their critics one by one. They are much better organized, better funded and more highly motivated than their opponents.
