Upper falls on Kilby Mill Falls, Chattahoochee national forest near Clayton, GA. It was a chilly afternoon (on Georgia Standards), around 40F (4C), not warm enough to melt the ice that built up the night before on the dead tree.
This is an HDR shot composed with photomatix. I tried to keep it as natural as possible (it is easy to get too excited with the HDR thing and over do it), I only used two exposures, 0 and +1 1/3, just enough to get more details on the rocks and the moss around the tumbling water.
